Queens - Whats GOOD in your HOOD?

Queens, we want to learn about your secret spots!

We’ve been hearing from GOOD and No Longer Empty fans from around the world about their favorite spaces in their cities. From Madrid to L.A. we’ve gotten some great tips about new ways to explore and discover our urban spaces.

No Longer Empty is very excited to announce that our next exhibition will be in Long Island City, Queens.  Queens is huge and incredibly diverse - if it were a city, it would be the fourth largest in the country, and it is the most ethnically diverse urban area in the entire world.

We’ve spent the summer and fall immersing ourself in the neighborhood and getting to know it - exploring its galleries, coffee shops, and historical societies.   We’ve discovered some gems that we’ll be sharing with you over the coming weeks, but we want to hear from YOU about your favorite spots in greater Queens and Long Island City.  That way we can all get to know Queens a little better, and explore and discover our city in new ways.

Let turn this tumblr into a hub that showcases Queens and all its amazing spots!  Share your faves here.
